The Story of Shas'O Vior'la Shovah Kais Mont'yr Better Know As Commander Farsight

Welcome to The Story of Shas'O Vior'la Shovah Kais Mont'yr, better Know As Commander Farsight.

I have been eager to run a narrative campaign chronicling the life and adventures of my favourite 40K character, Commander Farsight.
So this blog post is intended as an intro into 7 games that will tell the tale of this extraordinary Tau warrior. 6 of these games will be based off the official 'fluff' from the Codex Supplement: Farsight Enclaves and the last game is more of a labour of love, which is only loosely based in the 'fluff'.
This narrative campaign is intended to run over the next year as each game will take time to prep and play. But below I have detailed an outline of the campaign. I hope you enjoy each update as much as I will making them along with my fellow Six Up Save friends.

Chapter 1 - The Arkunasha War
O'Shovah's first true command saw him reinforce the Tau population of Arkunasha as they faced the greenskin menace for the first time. With the Fire caste committed, it was not long before the planet's oxide dunes ran with rivers of blood.

The Tau's first encounters with the Imperium were based on subtle infiltration, though when the masters of Humanity learned of their subversion, a storm of violence followed. Chapter 3 - The Molochite Tradegy
Ten years of punishment followed the reclamation of the enclaves as O'Shovah's cadres hunting down and exterminated the Ork menace wherever it was found. Farsight's red-armoured warriors put one Ork-infested planet after another to the torch. One such world was Arthas Moloch, yet it was not just Orks that Farsight found among the ruins...

Until one day, a call from across the stars awakens him from his years of slumber. Waaagh! Dok has returned and they are slaughtering the Kroot by the thousand on their Homeworld of Pecha. Confessions of a Warhammer Wife

Confessions of a Warhammer Wife Bruce’s obsession with Warhammer was only revealed to me during our second year of dating. We had been together a long time by then – had even lived together for the majority of that time while at University. And still I didn’t know about this one aspect of Bruce’s nerd-dom. When Bruce and I first began dating I was fully aware of – even besotted by - his nerdy credentials. Together we had played hours of Halo 3 and Mario Kart, swapped manga and even visited the cinema for a solo late night screening of Star Trek. Yet this did not prepare me for what would become one of his main loves in life. It all started back in 2012. We had been living separately back at our parents’ homes after University – me in Yorkshire, he in Worcester. I would often travel down to visit him and on one such occasion I was told of a new friend Bruce had made through work. Damien. They had apparently bonded when Bruce had taken on old model – a Tyranid Warrior I beli

August Apocalypse

Hi All, Its Martin. Our very own Sam, with the help of Matt and Andy from Worcester Wargames put together an Apocalypse game that saw the mighty Imperial armies battling against every Xeno army going (I played my Eldar on the Xeno's team). To allow this to happen, all Xeno's were made allies of convenience to prevent us turning on each other! From Six Up save other than myself, we had Jamie 1 and 2, Bruce, Sam, Dae, and Matt playing in the event. The tournament was a 1 day main event with a sub mission played the night before. Each team had a 'Warlord', Dae for the Xeno's and SUS's newest member Jamie2 for the Imperium. It was their task to coordinate their respective teams towards their targets and agendas. I would say both did an awesome job at keeping their teams in order and directing troops to where they were needed. Each player had 2000 points to spend on their chosen armies but they could only have 1 LOW / Gargantuan per list and within t

Black Maru's Order of Redemption.

Hey guys, Bruce here with the first of (what I hope to be) many short snippets of background, history and goofy fluff pieces for my Blood Angel successor Chapter, "The Redeemers" aka "Black Maru's Order of Redemption". I'll start off by highlighting some of the key characters, mostly HQ's that play a big part both on the tabletop and in the ongoing story linking my games / campaigns together.  The Redeemers are a successor Chapter of the Blood Angels, although they are a chapter in a very loose sense. Due to the way Black Maru (who we will discuss in further detail shortly) chooses to organize the Marines under his commend, The Redeemers are only considered a chapter for the sake of record keeping at the Adaptus Administratum. Internally referred to as an Order rather than a Chapter, The Redeemers are almost unheard of, partly due to the secrecy of their mission, but primarily because they have never done anything especially noteworthy or noble.  The
