Lord Dragkane's Space Wolves

Hi guys, Jamie here.

Just to say a little bit about the main man in all of my lists really and that's the big honcho and general badass, Wolf Lord Dragkane. He's got a large array of kills including Daemon Princes, the bigger the better as they just fuel his want for glory and to rid the universe of those Daemon scum.

After all a heretic a day keeps the Daemons at bay, or so they say anyway.

Dragkane has his trusted Thunder Wolf Cavalry with him as an hunting pack after all if you are going to take something down you might as well have witnesses to give more credit.

Now you must be thinking whats so special about this guy, well I'm glad you were thinking this as Dragkane was selected my Logan Grimnar to wield the Krackenbone Sword which is a special relic amongst the space wolves. So on the odd occasion Logan Grimnar will come and visit Dragkane and they will embark on a quest to slay some enemies that have crossed into there air space.

Now Logan is always accompanied by his trusted bodyguard Arjac Rockfist and the terminator squads. although they are strong and sturdy they tend to let Dragkane storm the enemy and destroy there ranks while they charge up the battlefield to nail the final hammer in the coffin.

That's it for this post but next time I'm going to touch on how the space wolves managed to get there hands on a Imperial Knight.

Confessions of a Warhammer Wife

Bruce’s obsession with Warhammer was only revealed to me during our second year of dating. We had been together a long time by then – had even lived together for the majority of that time while at University. And still I didn’t know about this one aspect of Bruce’s nerd-dom. When Bruce and I first began dating I was fully aware of – even besotted by - his nerdy credentials. Together we had played hours of Halo 3 and Mario Kart, swapped manga and even visited the cinema for a solo late night screening of Star Trek. Yet this did not prepare me for what would become one of his main loves in life.
It all started back in 2012. We had been living separately back at our parents’ homes after University – me in Yorkshire, he in Worcester. I would often travel down to visit him and on one such occasion I was told of a new friend Bruce had made through work. Damien. They had apparently bonded when Bruce had taken on old model – a Tyranid Warrior I believe – into his …

Death korps of Krieg

Hello everyone, Sam here, it has been a while since I have posted on here and wanted to share what I have been working on. My first loyalist (shudder) army. Also my first guard army.
Over the past 10 months or so I have been slowly building and painting a Death Korps of Krieg army using the seige of Vraaks book. I have been attempting a unit a week but like we all do my attention and attitude towards painting blows hot and cold.
I was origionally drawn to Krieg due to their post apocalyptic / menacing appearance and thought that they would be perfect for a renegades army. However the more that I read and planned the army, the more interested in the Krieg themselves that I became. This lead me to my first order of death riders and the other more krieg units. This is not to say that i wont experiment with renegades as i have found some wicked looking zombie krieg models that I may incorperate in the future. I expect this army to play in a totally different style to those I currently use …

Led kits and knights

Sam here with a small write up to review a product I have got recently which I think is just plain awesome.
I am starting an imperial Knight army at the moment and wanted to somethig to make them pop a little more (they will be bright yellow so needed something rather extravegant) so I had seen some pictures online of people who had added LED's to their knights and was hooked.
I searched the internet for some sources and found that it did not easily yield any obvious choices. A lot of expensive kits appeared for remote control cars and model train kits but I wanted something with one battery, switch and two led's without the hasstle of soldering myself.
Then I came accross this website
http://www.smallscalelights.co.uk
Easy to navigate
Low cost
Range of products
Fantastic customer service! I had emails with instructions arrive upon payment as well as shilling information.
All in all it cost me around £10 for the kit including the battery I had to buy seperate.

Using the kit
The kit was …
