As some of you may have seen on our Facebook page recently, 7 out of 10 members of Six Up Save plus our good friend, Jack Whitefoot, made the trip down to Bristol for Vanquish 2016.
5 of us plus Jack were there for both days, while Cat and Matt joined us on the Sunday.
Bruce ran Necrons, Sam ran Chaos, Charles (Beast) ran Farsight Enclave, Cat ran Eldar, Matt ran Dark Eldar and finally Damien, Paul and Jack ran Orks.
We had mixed results with Sam finishing in a respectable 15th place, Paul won Most Sporting and in a rare change of pace, Cat got the Wooden Spoon instead of our regular Spoon Winner, Paul.
Overall we had a great weekend, playing some fantastic games against like-minded people and fantastically painted armies. (Felt quite embarrassed some of my army were only single colours)
This was my first tournament away from Worcester and the games I played have made me more excited for other tournaments, both home and away.
Finally a massive thank you to Bristol Vanguard for organising such a fantastic event. We all look forward to your upcoming events.
