Six Up Save

Welcome to The Story of Shas'O Vior'la Shovah Kais Mont'yr, better Know As Commander Farsight. I have been eager to run a narrative campaign chronicling the life and adventures of my favourite 40K character, Commander Farsight. So this blog post is intended as an intro into 7 games that will tell the tale of this extraordinary Tau warrior. 6 of these games will be based off the official 'fluff' from the Codex Supplement: Farsight Enclaves and the last game is more of a labour of love, which is only loosely based in the 'fluff'. This narrative campaign is intended to run over the next year as each game will take time to prep and play. But below I have detailed an outline of the campaign. I hope you enjoy each update as much as I will making them along with my fellow Six Up Save friends. Chapter 1 - The Arkunasha War O'Shovah's first true command saw him reinforce the Tau population of Arkunasha as they faced the greenskin menace for the fi...

As some of you may have seen on our Facebook page recently, 7 out of 10 members of Six Up Save plus our good friend, Jack Whitefoot, made the trip down to Bristol for Vanquish 2016. Sam's Chaos versus Eldar 5 of us plus Jack were there for both days, while Cat and Matt joined us on the Sunday. Bruce ran Necrons, Sam ran Chaos, Charles (Beast) ran Farsight Enclave, Cat ran Eldar, Matt ran Dark Eldar and finally Damien, Paul and Jack ran Orks. Sam here wishing everyone a belated happy new year and posting about what 2016 has in store for Six Up Save. L ast year saw the beginning of six up save, a new member to the group, our first group tournament and lots of laughs. This year we almost mirror that in the first two months by hosting a tournament in february and welcoming our tenth member Cat to the group. It is our current aim to host three tournaments this year. Starting with back to basics in February which limits everyons cad in a minimalistic and nostalgic way. In june we hope to run a doubles tournament in which everyone counts as allies of convenience for some awesome yet unbroken alliances. Finally  in september we aim to run another skirmish event, a competitive free for all similar to last years. As well as our own tournaments we plan on attending Bristol Vanguards Vanquish on the 2nd-3rd of April. Last year Sam, Bruce, Damien and Matt went and had a great time. We will begin our batman league soon after that wh...
